Got Neutral Race Support?

Neutral race support is one of the top things that race promoters can do to enhance their event.  Pro riders want support, wheel changes, consulting, repairs ... the list just goes on and on.  That's why we here at Merlyn Mechanics offers one of the oldest and most trusted services in the industry.

With over 30 years experience in the cycling industry and specialists in neutral support for bicycle racing since 1988 and a resume that touts experience as a bicycle mechanic since 1982, Merlyn Mechanics has provided neutral support for over 1,000 national and international races and represented companies such as Mavic, Shimano, Pedro’s, Campagnolo and SRAM NRS.  Recognized in the industry as the man who “gets things done,” Merlyn Mechanics is also the originator of neutral support for cyclo-cross worldwide according to the Union of Cyclists International (UCI).  We have served as a mechanic/team manager for over 20 teams worldwide (including the Dansko Woman's Pro Team, Australian National Team, the U.S. National Team, the Japanese National Team and the MG X-Power Cycling Team) and served as head mechanic for the Odyssey 2000 cycling tour, a one-year, world wide cycling expedition that encompassed 45 countries on six continents with 250 riders.
